Hello, I’m Upendra Pinnelli.

I’m a creative director, storyteller, animation professional, photographer, and lifelong learner who enjoys building ideas across different mediums.

For most of my career, I’ve led talented teams in creating animated content for children and family audiences. That world shaped how I think about storytelling, emotion, timing, clarity and craft.

But animation is only one part of my journey.

I also chase stars with my camera, photograph wildlife, explore places on my motorcycle, write stories, and keep experimenting with new tools, formats and ideas. I enjoy learning, unlearning and following curiosity wherever it takes me.

I’ve worked across Media & Entertainment, EdTech, Branding, F&B, Event Management, Film Production, Marketing, Distribution and licensing. Each space has helped me build a wider understanding of how ideas are shaped, packaged, communicated, and brought to life.

Today, I bring together creative direction, storytelling, visual design, strategy, and experimentation to create meaningful work across pixels, print, screens, stories and sometimes galaxies.
